How do you tie stories about a cow, a wine farm, Asian cuisine and a private school into one newsletter, with a common theme and make them all seem completely related? You don't. They are all Hermanus based and they are
weaved together to form the fabric of our September newsletter and have very little else in common. The fact that they will all be experiencing the introduction of Spring to our shores and will be witness to the Whale Festival this month is about as much common thread as we can find. Read on.

It was 3 o clock on a Friday afternoon and we packed the 3 kids in the car and made our way into the beautiful Hemel and Aarde valley to Creation Wines. What a location, breathtaking views all around you, mountains, vineyards, a dam and a beautifully designed and creatively decorated wine cellar and tasting room.

Finally Thai Food has found its way to Hermanus!
The incredibly successful Harbour Rock Restaurant and Gecko Bar have branched out again and added Thai food to their gastronomic offering. Owner Francois Barnard and General Manager Vaughan van Blerk wanted to utilize the space they had in a better, more productive and more appealing way and they saw a gap in the market.
