World Cup 2010 KICKOFF celebrations in Stanford
Our Mayor of the Overstrand and his wife opened the Stanford GREAT SOCCER EXTRAVAGANZA on Friday 11 June 2010. Free soccer coaching for the children by the Football Foundation of South Africa. This event, an initiative of the Rainbow Trust will continue on Saturday @ 9h00.

Rain could not dampen the spirits of the children of the Oversrand when celebrating World Ocean Day dressed up as sea creatures and parading along the famous Hermanus coastal walk. Mayor Beyleveld joined them in a pledge to protect our oceans

FFSA Mini World Cup Tournament at the Gansbaai Sports Centre on 29 May where 16 teams each represented one of the World Cup countries.
Shosoloza Clip
The Mini World Cup Tournament in Gansbaai was organized by the Football Foundation of SA. Their focus was to give children the opportunity to compete as a team.
Solar Power TV
Gregor Kupper hand over a Solar Power TV Station in the Clubhouse at the Gansbaai Sport Centre . This donation was made possible by the combined efforts of FFSA, Dibanisa and the Overstrand Municipality.
